If you’re an attendee.
Door’s open at 6:00pm. We usually spend an hour hanging out, chatting meeting new people, etc.
We do around 7-8 sparks, then have a short intermission, 10ish minutes. Then we do another round of sparks.
The end of the night we do the speed round. Choosing three people from the audience who will get up, and select an existing spark already presented that night, and do at 3x speed. Instead of 15 seconds a slide, it’s 5 seconds. Oh and you don’t have to keep the same meaning as the original presenter.
We’ll select the three Speed round volunteers at Intermission.
If you’ve submitted a spark idea.
Time to press the flesh, kiss babies, etc. Once the voting begins, it’s dog eat dog. Get your friends, family members, and co-workers to vote for your spark!
If you’re a presenter.
Your deck needs to be free of transitions, no audio or video, or any non standard/crazy fonts. Keep it to text and images.
You need to turn your deck in the Friday BEFORE Ignite Denver. If you don’t deliver it, you’re out, and we’ll let an alternate take your place. Sucks, but it’s worse when we get them late and it messes up the night.
If you want your deck considered as a speed round option, it’ll need to have as little text as possible. That way it’s easier to make up another meaning for the graphic for the speed round’er
That’s about it 
No matter whether you’re attending, presenting, or whatever, the main thing is to have fun, learn new things, meet new people.
